Long battle between BA and its cabin crew, comes to an end as they agreed to the new offers made by BA to cabin crew members. All travelers have a temporary relief due to this as it is postponed till next talk. A final offer from the airline was put to cabin crew after warning it would be withdrawn should a new strike ballot commence.
The union members will take between ten days and three weeks to consider BA’s latest offer, which includes a two year pay deal.Should it be rejected, a new strike would not be expected to take place until after the peak summer holiday period.Unite’s joint secretary Tony Woodley said that if the travel perks that were lost during the initial strikes were reinstated, a strike would be immediately called off.
